I don’t know where this year has gone, but it’s almost Christmas. Being based in Lincolnshire, I always look forward to the annual Lincoln Medieval Christmas Market hosted by the Travelling Historical Market. This year, it is being held from Thursday 12 – Sunday 15 December and at two of the city's most historic locations. Entry is free.
I'll be at St Mary le Wigford Church with signed copies of my books for sale, all at a discount off the cover price. It's the oldest church in the city that has been in continuous use. A short distance away, the market is also at St Mary's Guildhall. It's a fantastic opportunity to see inside both these buildings.

There will be a whole host of wonderful artisan traders and craftspeople, selling everything from leather goods, pottery, candles, delicious food, and boozy drinks. If you are looking for a unique Christmas present, this is the place to find it! This year, there is also a willow weaver and a 'dancing bear.'
We’re easily accessible, a short walk from the train and bus stations in 'downhill' Lincoln. (There's no need to trek up and down the famous, and aptly named, Steep Hill.)
If you're in Lincoln, or are planning to visit, then please do stop by the Medieval Market where I can guarantee a warm welcome and lots of seasonal cheer.
Opening times are:
Thursday 12 December: 12 pm to 9 pm
Friday 13 December: 10 am to 7.30 pm
Saturday 14 December: 10 am to 7.30 pm
Sunday 15 December: 10 am to 4 pm
